Tutoring Rates

This page outlines the personal rates for working directly with our Principal Tutor, Phil. As outlined in his background, Phil is highly qualified to tutor essentially any level of math.

(Note: If you are looking for lower rates, we do offer budget-friendly options for certain math levels through our excellent Associate Tutors. However, there are many advanced courses where Phil is our only qualified tutor at the standard rates listed below.)

Before you spend a dime, let’s make sure we’re a great fit. If you’d like to schedule an appointment, we will first set up a free, face-to-face consultation. This only takes a few minutes and comes with zero obligation. We’ll discuss your immediate and long-term goals. If you decide not to move forward, you owe nothing. If you are ready to get to work, we can schedule your first session—often even immediately after the consultation!

Package Details

All of our packages offer high-quality tutoring tailored to your long-term goals. Purchased hours never expire and can be used at any time. Starter Package * Includes: 6 hours of tutoring ($96/hr)

Best for: Short-term exam prep or students wanting to try out our services.
Payment: $288 down payment (covers your first 3 hours).

Consistency Package * Includes: 10 hours of tutoring ($92/hr)

Best for: Catching up, reviewing prerequisite material, and focused exam prep.
Payment: $460 down payment (covers your first 5 hours).

Value Package * Includes: 20+ hours of tutoring ($88/hr)

Best for: Intensive catch-up, review, long-term exam prep, or consistent weekly appointments. Highly recommended for students with a history of struggling with math.
Bonus: This package can be extended indefinitely! The discounted $80/hr Value Rate will apply to all appointments past your initial 20 hours.
Payment: $880 down payment (covers your first 10 hours).

Group Package * Includes: 6 hours of tutoring for all students in the group

Best for: Groups of students who are familiar with one another and taking the same course.
Bonus: Includes monthly email follow-ups to track progress.
Payment: $200 down payment per student (covers approximately the first 4 hours).

Cancellation Policy

We value your time, and we ask that you value ours.

More than 24 hours notice: No charge.
Less than 24 hours notice: You will be charged 50% of the cost of the appointment (rounded down to the nearest $5).
Less than 90 minutes notice (or No-Shows): You will be charged the full amount of the appointment. (Note: Arriving more than 15 minutes late to a scheduled appointment is considered a no-show). Cancellation charges must be paid at your next appointment or billed separately within 14 days. Thank you for your understanding!
