Students who would like to work with Ph.G. Tutoring but seek rates less than my standard rates may have another option.  I (Phil) have screened and selected a few Associate Tutors for experience and quality.  These tutors may be available based on the needs and preferences of the student(s), as well as scheduling considerations.  Our Associate Tutors offer excellent tutoring for many subjects at the reduced rates given below.  Satisfaction is guaranteed – if you are not completely satisfied, you will not be charged for the appointment and we will find you a suitable Tutor.

Initial Consultation

If you would like to schedule an appointment, we will set up a free face-to-face consultation with you. This will take just a few minutes, with no charge and no obligation.  At this consultation, we will discuss your needs, both immediate and long-term.  If you decide not to work with us, then you owe nothing.  If you would like to work with us, then we will schedule our first appointment, which possibly could even be immediately after the initial consultation.

Guarantee

If for any reason you feel you aren’t working well with your Tutor, we will not charge you for your appointment and we’ll match you with a different tutor.  (But this doesn’t happen very often, because we’ve got some really good Tutors!)

Starter Package

• 6 hours of quality tutoring, $56/hr
• Suggested for short-term exam prep or trying out our services
• $168 down payment, which covers the first 3 hours.  Flexible payment options.

Consistency Package:

• 10 hours of high quality tutoring, $52/hr
• Suggested for catching up, reviewing prerequisite material, and/or exam prep
• $260 down payment, which covers the first 5 hours.  Flexible payment options.

Value Package:

• 20 hours of high quality tutoring, $48/hr
• Suggested for more intensive catch-up, review, long-term exam prep, and/or consistent appointments over several weeks/months.  Recommended for those with a history of struggling with math.
• $240 down payment, which covers first 5 hours.  Flexible payment options.

Group Package

• 6 hours of high quality tutoring for all students
• Suggested for groups of students familiar with one another
• $120 down payment per student, flexible payment options

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the appointment will incur a charge of ½ of the cost of the appointment (rounded down to the nearest $5).  Cancellations made less than 90 minutes prior to the appointment, including no-shows, will incur a charge of the full amount of the appointment.  Arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time will be considered a no-show.  These charges shall be paid at the next appointment, or paid separately within 14 days.  Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the appointment will incur no charges.  Thanks!
