With Phil’s help, I was able to end the semester in honors precalc strong, despite only having started sessions with him a month before winter break! He is extremely knowledgeable in the foundations and principles of math at any level and strives to help me understand the concepts and material rather than just memorize it. He not only creates an understanding environment to learn, but personalizes his teaching to the student in front of him by keeping individualized notes about each session that allow him to seamlessly resume teaching the concepts being reviewed. Using his teachings and notes, it allows me to grasp complex concepts by using them as a reference. Phil’s an amazing teacher to work with and I’m forever grateful I go to him!
